  | Torlak was founded in the early 1900's as a workshop building wooden vessels in the Black Sea shores. Torlak family founded their first company in 1970 named shipbuilding company and continued activities at golden Horn/Istanbul until 1983. After 1983 Torlak shipyard transferred to Tuzla Bay in Istanbul while realising additional investment applying several technological developments.
