Allow us to introduce ourselves: we are Kees Jan Groen and Ruud Schumacher, the managing directors of Shipdock Holding. It is our pleasure to introduce to you our yards in Amsterdam and Harlingen, both equipped with excellent facilities which can meet with the highest expectations. In Amsterdam we also run a professional machine shop and steel construction facility: Niron Staal.

In Amsterdam we can handle vessels of up to 250 m. in length, and in Harlingen up to 120 m.. Beside general repair and maintenance activities, we are always looking for those special jobs in which our skilled employees can prove themselves as the outstanding and dedicated professionals that they are.

‘Going the extra yard’ is the motto here - which our loyal customers certainly know about. Combined with factors like individual service and a sharp monitored time- and cost-efficient approach, which, over the years, has become a part of our DNA. We do admit however, that the foundation of this motto lies in the characters of our staff and workforce, because they are the ones that actually go the extra yard!
