EPG SHIPYARD

MMI are pleased to add EPG shipyard to its portfolio of class shipyards.

Based in Gdynia, Poland,  Energomontaz-Polnoc Gdynia Ltd are already established leaders in offshore construction and have now taken over a large graving dock from the defunct new building yard adding ship repair and conversion to their list of capabilities.

     TRU-MARINE - TECHNOLOGY FOR THE FUTURE

Turbo-charger specialists, Tru-Marine of Singapore, are building on the success of their LASER CLADDING robot by making plans for a second and third machine to be placed in Rotterdam and Shanghai.

Trials are also taking place using a three dimensional camera to scan damaged components. A CAD file can be produced and fed to the robot to carry out a repair and feed the information to a computer controlled lathe to carry out final machining.
